Sport

Sport is an integral part of school life, with Villanova experiencing success in many areas including swimming, rugby union, volleyball, tennis, golf and more. Villanova considers sport an important aspect of development in boys of all ages and maintains an excellent sporting reputation and pride in its achievements.

Students have the opportunity to participate in the school’s representative teams, which play in the Associated Independent Colleges (AIC) competition. With high-level coaching and dedicated support, boys are given every opportunity to succeed and build upon skills that extend beyond the playing fields.

A Message from the Director of Sport

Our aim in the Sports Office is to maintain and further develop the College’s sports program from years 5 to 12, and to ensure our students are given the opportunity to participate in and enjoy all the benefits of playing sport.

The Villanova College community provides numerous ways for its students to become involved in a wide variety of pursuits including sport, music and culture.

My advice to all students is to get involved in the co-curricular life of the College. Enjoy the challenges and friendships you encounter along the way, and show pride in representing Villanova College in how you conduct yourself on and off the sporting field.
